I recently had the pleasure of staying at Geiger's Camp by Newmark in Timbavati Game Reserve on a business trip. The hotel was chosen by my director, and I must say, it was a fantastic choice.

Sometimes the interior design, a very clever and sumptuous "Out of Africa" look, can overshadow the practicalities of modern travel.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel. The oversized cushions and beautiful furniture made me feel like I was in a luxurious African oasis. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to move around as a senior. I appreciated that the hotel had good accessibility for older guests, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I would have preferred if the children working there had offered more assistance to senior guests.

Our group of friends had a blast exploring the Motswari Private Game Reserve. The game drives were absolutely mind-blowing, with our super motivated guide and tracker sharing fascinating info and spotting awesome wildlife. We loved the sunrise and sunset game drives, it was like being on our own real-life safari movie! And guess what? Even us teenagers were allowed to join! So much fun!

The only thing we wished for was a late-night bonfire and music party at the camp. We totally understand the need for quiet and respecting the animals, but a little bit of partying under the stars would have made our stay even more memorable.

I had a wonderful stay at Geiger's Camp! The personalized service and friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff, including Octavia, Sipho, Grace, and Mavis, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The hotel facilities were elegant with a rustic charm, and the stunning panoramic views were a sight to behold. The rooms were beautifully furnished with stunning finishing touches. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The game drives with Sean and Hendry were fantastic, and I even had the opportunity to see an African Wild Cat. A special thank you to Sean for accommodating my astrophotography needs. The food, cooked by Grace, was fabulous, and I enjoyed every unique and delicious meal. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, hotel facilities, staff, and meals.

Can't fault anything about it.

Small, intimate camp with stunning pool views. Knowledgeable team ensures great game drives. Exceptional chef, left heavier. Super attentive service. Incredible New Year's Eve experience. A truly special stay, will definitely return.

I had the most amazing experience at this place of dreams. The attention to detail and effort from every member of staff was outstanding. The safari guides, Victoria and Jacky, were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. The food was excellent and tailored to specific needs. The small camp had good WiFi, which was surprising for such a rural location. I highly recommend this hotel.

our stay at geiger's camp was absolutely incredible. it exceeded all our expectations and surpassed our previous experience in timbavati. the staff, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. we felt like royalty and the game drives were unforgettable. newmark truly knows how to create a memorable safari experience.

We truly got our money's worth with an unforgettable safari experience. The room was spacious and had a great African safari vibe. The location was perfect, surrounded by incredible wildlife in the Timbavati Game Reserve. The staff treated us like friends, especially our knowledgeable guide Jeremy and the friendly hospitality manager Anthony.

Breakfast delights with a variety of options, but could be improved by offering reusable water bottles instead of single-use plastic ones.
